'Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it'
A year after loosing his job DAVID sits in inertia, he feels emasculated by his role of stay at home dad. His relationship with wife HANNA is on the rocks and the only thing he is certain of is his devotion to 3 year old son RAY. At night DAVID escapes to 'The Mens Club' Strippers, Gangsters and Violence. HANNA concocts more and more extreme ways of getting DAVID out of his depression and onto the breadline. When DAVID witnesses a horrendous act of violence in the back room of the club he is drawn into a world of violence that threatens his life and his family's safety. Perhaps to late he tries to cut ties and save what's left of his life and marriage but when his son goes missing there are dramatic and unexpected consequences.
What was a great looking short called Wounds grew to be a full fleshed feature film we've titled Nice Guy.
Written by Cavan Clerkin, it will be directed by Pascal Bergamin and produced by Ana Monzon and Hatty Hodgson.
